Congratulations Lucia Constantine (’20 Master’s Candidate) for being awarded the American Planning Association – North Carolina Chapter Marvin Collins Outstanding Planning Award for your meaningful contributions in the class room and your work as Student Admissions Coordinator.

Lucia Constantine is master’s student in the UNC Department of City & Regional Planning. Her interests include gentrification, creative placemaking, and urban immigration. Previously, Lucia worked in higher education at the Duke Office of Civic Engagement and Haas Center for Public Service, as an AmeriCorps member with Silicon Valley Health Corps and an intern with Student Action with Farmworkers. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford University.

The North Carolina Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA-NC) is an association of 1,400 professional and citizen planners working to preserve great places and to create a bright future for North Carolina.
