Post-event Happy Hour at Top of the Hill
Our panelists will discuss:
• The main economic development activities that they engage in daily.
• How their work fits within the three fundamental areas of recruitment, existing business, and small business creation and expansion. What are the innovative practices in these or other emergent areas that current students should learn about or better prepare for?
• Is the urban-rural divide getting worse? What are the causes and remedies, if any?
• How to promote progressive and inclusive forms of economic development in today’s divisive political environment.
Immediately following, there will be an economic development happy hour at Top of the Hill, with other alumni and our local economic development friends invited to attend. Hope you can stay for that!
