Lecturer
As project manager for the School of Government Environmental Finance Center since 2023, Nolan provides technical assistance in utility finance for small towns in North Carolina, working with businesses to lessen their environmental impact and conducting research for utility projects across the state.
Nolan earned a bachelor’s degree from UNC Greensboro and a master’s degree in city and regional planning from UNC-Chapel Hill. Prior to obtaining his master’s degree, Nolan taught high school in North Carolina for more than 10 years.
