Co-hosted by the Graduate School, Training Initiatives in Biological and Biomedical Science (TIBBS), and University Career Services, as well as student groups, Academic and Research Intensive Career Association (ARIC) and Future Science Educators (FuSE)
Graduate students and postdoctoral trainees will hear from new and seasoned faculty and administrators on a range of topics related to pursuing careers within higher education.
Two concurrent STEM- and Humanities/Social Sciences-focused panels will be offered from 10:30-12. The event format will include a 90-minute panel presentation with Q&A facilitated by student leaders on campus, followed by a 60-minute lunch and active-networking period of round-table discussions and informal networking.
From 1-2:30 pm, a panel of academic administrators will talk about the wide variety of options for graduates. This final session will be followed by a networking reception to end at 3 pm.
