In The Shadows of Ferguson: Racial Residential Segregation in St. Louis, MO, 1900-2014
Mai Nguyen, Associate Professor, Department of City and Regional Planning
Drawing from critical urban planning literature, Professor Nguyen will examine how spatial patterns of inequality were shaped over 100 years in St. Louis city and county by urban planners and public policy makers who were ingrained in a culture of white elite’s desire for capital accumulation.
