ULI Independent Study Final Presentation

April 18, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

ULI Hines Competition Independent Study Final Presentation Every year one or two DCRP students participate in the ULI Hines Competition–the national design competition in which multidisciplinary teams of students propose visionary development programs for a real site in a North American urban core.

This semester, a small group of planning students created an independent study course through which they asked a different question: taking the Hines design prompt, what could a team of planners do over the course of a few months to design a development program that is achievable, intentional, and grounded in realities of place?

You are invited to attend their final presentation and critique on their semesters work in creating a development proposal for the Banks, a currently underutilized riverfront corridor near downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. They’ll be sharing both our process and the small area plan they’ve crafted for the site, and would love your feedback. Matt Stern/Margaret Keener are organizing.

This event is scheduled for before the DCRP MP Capstone event. The group will be walking over to Top of the Hill just after their presentation.
