Building Integrated Communities Program Coordinator

Building Integrated Communities (BIC), a statewide initiative of the Latino Migration Project at UNC Chapel Hill, is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator (24 hours/week), with a special focus on bilingual communications in Spanish and English.

The Coordinator will coordinate and attend meetings with local government officials and diverse community partners. The Coordinator will provide assistance in event planning and promotion for workshops and public meetings with government staff and community residents. The Coordinator will manage BIC communications through the website, social media, emails, and phone calls. Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish and have strong writing skills in both languages.

BIC is a community planning and leadership initiative that partners with North Carolina local governments to create inclusive practices and policies for residents born in other countries. This is a grant-funded, temporary position, starting immediately.
