Code Administration/Enforcement Technician

The Code Administration / Enforcement Technician (hereafter, “Technician”) performs complex professional and administrative work in the management of land development and the administration of City Code for the City. Technician’s work is performed under the general direction of the Planning Director, and under the daily supervision of the Assistant Planning Director, and requires independent judgment and discretion in the performance of duties. Technician is a sworn officer of the City of Brevard who supports the Planning Director, Assistant Planning Director, and other Code Administration/Enforcement Officers in the administration and enforcement of the City’s Unified Development Ordinance, Health and Sanitation Ordinance, Minimum Housing Code, and Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance, and provides support in the administration and enforcement of other sections of the City of Brevard’s Code of Ordinances as may be assigned.
