Job opportunity for Masters and Doctoral students in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area who are interested in gaining experience as field data collectors
A researcher at Columbia Mailman School of Public Health is compiling a team of 4-6 Research Assistants to work on a survey of motorists over 6 evenings between March and October 2021 in a nearby North Carolina city. The field survey is focused on injury risks, alcohol use and related harm. The team will complete 6 hours’ paid training and will attend field data collection sites for approximately 4 hours on 6 occasions during 2021. The total commitment is approximately 30 hours per team member. Under direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, team members will be responsible for interacting with survey participants to obtain informed consent, administer an electronic survey, and collect process data. They will perform other related duties as assigned.
