Description
About the Position: Serve as the Production Center’s senior specialist in Water Resources Plan Formulation. Projects typically are within the geographic area of SPD, which embodies six western states and small parts of four others.
Responsibilities
- As the Division (SPD) CAP Water Resources Plan Formulation specialist you will:
- Review overall planning approach and methods to be applied to meet established planning objectives for CAP studies. Analyzes overall planning study results including results of engineering, economic, and environmental studies.
- Provide recommendations and comments to Production Center engineering and planning personnel.
- Provide plan formulation and policy compliance and chairs quality assurance/quality control review process for decision documents prepared by the Production Center.
- Provide authoritative advice on all CAP planning studies and Federal and non-Federal requirements during CAP planning.
- Advise Production Center members who serve on project delivery teams about water resources plan formulation inputs required for CAP studies.
