Landscape Designer

For over 30 years, our Charlotte and Raleigh civil engineering and landscape architecture professionals have teamed on more than 5,500 projects. Every project team is set up in a cross-disciplinary studio with engineers and designers working side-by-side from site analysis through construction administration.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Works under supervision of senior staff.
• Coordinates with senior staff for workload responsibilities.
• Produces project-related graphics, construction documents and project deliverables, as directed.
• Develops meeting materials for Public Meetings and Open House events.
• May travel periodically to assist with project task assistance.
• Maintains confidentiality of company and client related information.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in landscape architecture from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Working knowledge and skills in CAD
• Knowledgeable skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and related software such as SketchUp.
• Thorough knowledge in related software (i.e., MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat)
• Strong Attention to detail
• Good Problem-Solving Ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to physically assess project sites for design and construction QAQC review
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and their own transportation
