Long Range Planner II

Pender County is seeking to recruit a motivated individual to take on the position of Long Range Planner. This position touches everything the Department is involved in, from working directly with applicants on rezonings, text amendments, and other more site-specific case types, to management of major planning projects, to coordination of the County’s transportation planning efforts in collaboration with regional planning entities, and everything in between. This position affords the opportunity to think strategically and creatively about the future of one of the fastest growing Counties in the State and is therefore vital to the overall function of the Department.
