Manufactured Housing Project Manager

CASA of Oregon has put Oregon on the map when it comes to serving the residents of manufactured home communities. We have been active in advocacy and technical assistance that has resulted in residents purchasing the land beneath their home. Since 2008, nearly 1000 households living in 14 communities have taken control of their destinies. They have done this by becoming resident-owned communities (ROCs). Prosperity Now will be holding in its national 2019 I’M HOME conference in Portland, OR, The conference will highlight the great work of the many individuals and organizations that have contributed to a landscape where residents are at the center of the solution.

We are seeking an individual with real estate development experience. The ideal candidate is solutions based, numbers oriented, patient, has excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with professionals and with residents. This person is able to move projects forward.

We are seeking an individual who is committed to social change and is ready to work with residents and stakeholders in creating wealth and stability. The ideal candidate is a curious, motivated and mission-driven individual who can navigate the needs of multiple stakeholders (cooperatives, residents, funders, government agencies and others).

We are also looking for someone willing to join CASA on its equity journey. We are committed to dismantling racism, oppression and decentering whiteness. We also know that we need to work with our partners and stakeholders in making this work stick.
