Join us for “In the Shadows of Ferguson,” an immersive multimedia show that combines storytelling with data visualization. The installation tells the story about how housing and urban policy has shaped our spatially divided world. Set in St. Louis, Missouri, this story about segregation and inequality can be applied in metropolitan areas throughout the U.S. Come hear about redlining, restrictive covenants, municipal fragmentation, subsidized housing, and other housing and urban policies that have shaped the daily lives of African-Americans.

The show is open to the public but REGISTRATION is preferred: Register here

Two shows in Davis Library at the Data Hub:

Saturday November 23, 2019 from 4-7 pm
Sunday November 21, 2019 from 1-4 pm

Join us afterwards for the ticketed premiere performances of “Affordable Housing: The Musical” at CURRENT ArtSpace — an original musical developed through a year-long collaborative process in Chapel Hill that blends powerful stories and good-humored political satire to reset the conversation about affordable housing in our community.
