Nicole Bennett has 25 years experience as an urban planner, environmental planner and transportation planner. She is currently the Planning Manager at Cincar Consulting Group, a small advisory services firm based in Atlanta. Prior to this position, Nicole was the Carolinas Planning Lead at WSP. Nicole’s experience includes corridor studies, complete streets studies, feasibility studies, NEPA documentation, and community engagement. She has served as an Executive Board Member for APA- NC Chapter, is a member of WTS, was a Commissioner on the City of Raleigh’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission, and is a part of Spaces and Places, a grassroots network of urban planners, policymakers, and designers formed to amplify work on issues affecting communities of color that are often not fully recognized by professional urban planning and design communities. She was recently appointed to serve on the Raleigh Planning Commission. Nicole graduated from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Planning.

Andy Henry has been a transportation planner for the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) for seventeen years. He is responsible for the long-range transportation plans, collector street plans, socio-economic forecasts, land use modeling, corridor studies, and several specialized planning projects. Prior to his DCHC MPO work, he provided consulting to rural transit systems as a Research Associate at the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE), and was the coordinator for the Guilford County rural and human service transportation system. He has a Masters of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
