This position is devoted to providing bicycle and pedestrian transportation planning for the City of Durham. Performs project-level, short-range, and long-range transportation planning.

Responsible for managing plan development including consultant oversight, visioning, plan direction, public outreach, and the plan adoption and amendment process; coordinating implementation of capital projects; participating in the City’s review of transportation and transit projects; communicating plans and projects to the public and appointed and elected officials; maintaining records and databases; and coordinating with stakeholders to develop and implement events and initiatives including marketing and outreach.
