Environmental Planner

Professional planning work of moderate difficulty. Suited for someone who can perform a wide variety of activities related to environmental initiatives, especially climate action plan implementation. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in environmental sciences, planning, or a related field, and considerable work experience in environmental or land use planning and experience in public speaking, writing, and outreach is required. Experience in grant administration, collaborative relationship-building, budget management, and GIS are strongly of interest. This position requires availability for supporting advisory boards and attending public meetings, both in the evenings, and on weekends, throughout the year.
