Junior Data Analyst

Motivate LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Business Operations Analyst to support data reporting and analytics for our markets across the United States. This position will be highly visible and transformative for Motivate LLC as we continue to experience rapid growth in the fast-paced micro-mobility industry. About the Role

• Develop Tableau dashboards, ETLs that incorporating business logic, and reports to track KPIs across all Motivate systems
• Extract, analyze, manipulate, and synthesize trends across Motivate systems and departments, including bicycle fleet operations, station deployment & technology, bicycle redistribution, and customer service
• Work closely with corporate department managers (Business Operations, Finance, Operations, People, and Business Development) to execute data-driven operational strategies
• Provide tactical insights to Motivate system leaders and empower them to optimize daily operations with automated business intelligence solutions
• Advise and provide training on the use of analytics tools

About You

• You have an undergraduate background in an analytical field (finance, accounting, mathematics, computer science, economics, natural sciences)
• You have 1+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role
• You have a good knowledge of SQL, Python, and feel comfortable creating in Tableau, providing analysis in Excel, and collaborating through GitHub. Panoply and data management experience is a plus.
• You are a team player, thrive in growth environments, and are excited to tackle the unique challenges facing growing transportation and logistics solutions
• You are comfortable manipulating large data sets and presenting complex information in an easy to understand manner
• You have strong intellectual curiosity and analytical skills, with a passion for recognizing correlations, data trends, and statistical irregularities
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in presenting findings and strategic insights to a wide range of internal stakeholders
• You have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• You are a highly motivated self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, a high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed
• You demonstrate a professional demeanor: patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor
• You have leadership and strong communication skills to drive ideas across an organization 
• You are a proactive and collaborative problem solver
