Newsletter Internship

Hi! Thanks for considering this opportunity to work together. Full disclosure, I’ve never had an intern before, but I have a pretty good idea of what I’d want to work with you on – building and developing a climate newsletter to be rooted in science, justice, solidarity, joy, and action on the biggest challenge facing the world today.

Requirements for this position: At least a Junior or Senior undergrad in journalism, environmental studies, or related field of study, or one year equivalent experience writing and publishing your own newsletter.

Duties: Scheduling newsletter posts, coordinating with freelance writers, market research surrounding newsletters.

This position will be for a period of 12 weeks, starting on Monday, May 3, 2021. Time commitment will be approximately 10 hours per week, and pay will be $20 per hour. If everything goes well, there will be an opportunity to transition this position to a full time editorial assistant/operation manager starting this fall.
