Senior Planner (Transportation/GIS)

The Town of Davidson is hiring! The Planning Department seeks to hire a collaborative, creative individual with an understanding of strong transportation and planning principles and the experience to match. Important position responsibilities include development review, working with local and regional partners on various transportation initiatives, map making, and implementation of our recently adopted Davidson Mobility Plan. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in planning, geography, or related field and a minimum of six years’ experience is required. AICP preferred. GIS skills are a must. Exceptional candidates will have advanced experience in development review and transportation planning.
