Transportation Demand Management Coordinator

The Orange County Transportation Services Department has an opening for a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Coordinator. Under the general supervision of the Orange County Transportation Services Director and Sustainability Coordinator, an employee of this class is primarily responsible for coordinating the Orange County Commuter Options (OCCO) program aligned with regional Transportation Demand Management (TDM) activities taking place across the Triangle. An employee in this position is responsible for carrying out activities to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution in popular commute destinations by promoting commuter alternatives such as transit, telework, carpooling, vanpooling, biking and walking. An employee in this class will work in conjunction with several departments reaching across Orange County, and does related work as required .
