Transportation Planner/Engineer

We are currently seeking a Transportation Planner/Engineer for our Transportation Planning practice in our Atlanta, GA, Savannah, GA, or Charlotte, NC regional offices!

The Transportation Planner/Engineer will work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment and must have excellent communication, strong data and analytical, and documentation skills. He or she will participate in the collection and analysis of data, technical analysis of transportation planning projects of varying size and scope, development of recommendations, and report and presentation development.  The person will provide support to our clients on the state, regional, and local levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university
• Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university preferred
• EIT and/or AICP Certification preferred
• 2-4 years experience performing transportation planning/engineering activities
• Proficiency with ArcGIS
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Business acumen and facilitation skills working with a broad set of clients, stakeholders and members of the public
• Strong teamwork and project organization skills working on projects and with staff
