Every fall, Kittelson & Associates, Inc. hosts a webinar to introduce students to the transportation profession. The webinar traditionally gives an overview of career paths in transportation and engineering/planning, opportunities to build an impactful career in both the private and public sectors, and the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the transportation industry today.
This year, we’ve decided to expand the webinar to a seven-part series. Each event in the series will be hosted by a different set of Kittelson team members and will consist of a short presentation followed by lots of time for Q&A. This way students can pick and choose the topics that interest them the most and benefit from more open discussion. Additionally, the new format gives us meaningful time to connect with students in the virtual environment.
Students interested in this series, can view this overview of dates and topics. We also welcome you to sign up for one or more sessions if you’re interested! We’d like your feedback as we continue to refine the ways we share information and engage with students.
Kittleson and Associates has offered internships to students from UNC-CH in past summers. We are preparing for a mix of virtual and in-person internships next summer depending on national and local health regulations.

Join Kittelson & Associates for a series of virtual conversations to learn about many aspects of a career in transportation!
15 Kittelson staff members have marked our calendars for seven sessions where we’ll share what it looks like to work the transportation profession in general, and at Kittelson specifically. While this series is designed with students in mind, these events are open to anyone interested in learning more about careers in the world of transportation—from planning and engineering to finances and marketing.
These hour-long sessions will be built more around your questions than our content, so in each session, we’ll give a short presentation followed by plenty of time for you to submit questions for the presenters.
