Description

As a Program Analyst, you will:

  1. Manage a portfolio of FTA funding recipients.
  2. Develop collaborative relationships with recipients to support their civil rights programs.
  3. Independently and proactively analyze and evaluate recipient operations, projects, and plans for compliance with federal civil rights requirements in the areas of Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the USDOT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program.
  4. Provide direct and extensive advice and technical assistance to recipients to support correct and timely interpretation and application of federal civil rights laws, regulations, and guidance.
  5. Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to FTA staff on civil rights matters.

The ideal candidate has public transit or civil rights experience supporting and applying the requirements to recipients of federal funds. They should have experience working on significant programs or projects, knowledge of civil rights and public transportation, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and demonstrating leadership, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
