Transit Planning Intern

NelsonNygaard Consulting Associates seeks a highly organized, independent, and motivated Intern for its Boston office to support the firm’s nationally recognized transit service planning practice. This practice emphasizes creative and innovative bus and rail transit service planning and community involvement, often within a wider set of goals such as economic development and reduced dependence on the private automobile.

The position will be responsible for assisting on a range of projects including comprehensive operational analyses, transit master plans, shuttles for universities and corporate campuses, transit corridors, bus stop improvement plans, high-capacity transit, streetcar studies, and paratransit studies, among others.
