Planner II

The preferred candidate will work in the Transportation Planning Section within the Division of Traffic Management. This position will assist in developing and implementing multimodal transportation and mobility policies, procedures, and design improvements throughout the City, including implementation of the Columbus Multimodal Thoroughfare Plan and Connect Columbus Policy Framework. Incumbent duties will include research and analysis, mapping and graphic communication, public engagement, project management, short range and long range plan development, development of right-of-way design concepts, speed management and safety solutions, and special tasks as assigned.
