Planning Technician

The Town of Garner is seeking a Planning Technician to join our growing team to provide critical assistance and support to the Planning and Zoning section of the Planning Department. This position will work closely with the general public, property owners, builders, real estate agents, developers, and others who inquire about the Town’s land use, zoning, and transportation related activities and permit requirements. Work will involve interpreting the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), determining zoning and issuing a variety of permits.
