Master’s degree preferred. Possession of or the ability to obtain AICP designation within one year of employment. Possession of CZO designation is preferred.

Analysts work on a remote basis with occasional required travel. The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and the Phillip D. Peters Regional Planning Fellowship Board of Directors are pleased to announce the availability of a planning fellowship in 2020. The fellowship competition is open to students currently enrolled in a Master’s degree graduate program in urban planning or a related field. Priority will be given to those students midway through their graduate program.

The fellowship will be awarded during spring 2020. The fellow will work with CMAP for 10 weeks over a consecutive period between May 2020 and December 2020.

The Southeast Tennessee Development District is a regional council of governments located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The opening is for the position of Regional Planner. Maximum Starting Salary Based on Qualifications (non-negotiable): $41,093.70Benefits include:State of Tennessee Health Insurance Plan, Vision, Dental, employer paid contribution to the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System(employees are vested in 5 years), and employer matching contributions to a 401(k). Employees earn 1 annual leave day each month and a ½ day of sick leave each month. Fringe benefits are estimated to be 36% of an employee’s pay scale.
